South Cotabato — A 38-year-old driver who faces two (2) counts of Other Acts of Child Abuse under Section 10 of Republic Act 7610, also known as the "Special Protection Against Child Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act," was successfully apprehended by the elements of Police Regional Office 10 and 12 in Purok 3, Poblacion, Kitaotao, Bukidnon at around 8:50 in the morning on February 2, 2024.
The suspect, who was not identified by authorities, is a resident of Sitio Santa Barbara, San Jose, Banga, South Cotabato, and is considered one of the province's Top 10 Most Wanted individuals.
The suspect is currently detained at Banga Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
Police Brigadier General Jimili Macaraeg, the Regional Director of PNP 12, commended the successful operation resulting from the collaboration among police units.
