Marawi City, Lanao del Sur - In a successful buy-bust operation conducted on February 6, authorities confiscated two hundred grams of suspected shabu in Barangay Gadongan, Marawi City, Lanao del Sur.
According to the report from PNP PRO BAR, the suspected illegal substance was found inside heat-sealed plastic sachets with a standard drug price of Php1,300,000.00.
The operation also resulted in the recovery of the buy-bust money, identification cards, and a motorcycle.
Authorities revealed that the suspects agreed to meet with a poseur buyer near the village hall of Gadongan. The transaction proceeded, and the operating teams arrested two individuals during the operation.
The arrested individuals and the seized evidence were immediately taken to the provincial headquarters of Lanao del Sur Police for further investigation.
