Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (January 18, 2024) - Authorities in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) have successfully apprehended their top ten most wanted suspect after serving a warrant of arrest.
The BARMM Regional Police Office, while withholding the suspect's identity, revealed that the individual is facing charges under Republic Act No. 10591, also known as the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
According to court recommendations, a bail amount of two hundred thousand pesos has been set for the case.
The arrested individual was also considered the 7th most wanted suspect in Maguindanao del Norte and the 5th most wanted in Upi.
The arrest took place in Barangay Nangi, Upi, on January 16, 2024.
The suspect is now in the custody of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Regional Field Unit BARMM, for documentation and proper disposition.
