Manila —The Department of Transportation received another delivery of a 600,000 license card.
Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista shared this information in a report by Radyo Pilipinas.
The 600,000 driver's license cards received by the agency are in addition to the one million cards previously delivered to the Land Transportation Office (LTO).
An additional 2.2 million licenses are expected to arrive in May and will be distributed to various districts and satellite offices of the LTO.
Following the lifting of the writ of preliminary injunction by the Court of Appeals, the LTO can now resume issuing licenses for new applicants and renewals.
