Sarangani Province — A 35-year-old female medic of Guerilla Font MUSA in the Far Southern Mindanao Region, known by the alias "Shine," voluntarily surrendered to authorities in Sarangani Province.
Shine and her group operate in Kiamba, Maitum, and Maasim in Sarangani Province.
The surrender took place in Sitio Matalam, Barangay Nalus, Kiamba, on Tuesday, January 30. She also surrendered an improvised 5.56mm caliber pistol loaded with eight bullets.
The successful surrender of alias "Shine" was a result of the Oplan "MACARAEG" program conducted by the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) 12, in collaboration with the Kiamba Municipal Police Station, the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company of Sarangani Police Provincial Office, and the Alpha Company of the 38th Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army.
