Manila —The suspension of face-to-face classes nationwide has impacted over 1.3 million students.
Nearly 4,000 schools in various regions implemented alternative delivery modes on Wednesday due to the intense heat, according to the Department of Education (DepEd) data as of April 3 at 4:00 PM.
DepEd allowed school officials to decide to shift to alternative delivery modes as needed due to the hot weather.
This initiative aims to continue students' education through online or modular methods.
DepEd assured that the health and well-being of students and school staff are their top priority.
