P2B PROPOSED BUDGET NG MAFAR PARA SA FY 2025, INAPRUBAHAN NA NG KOMITE

Aprubado na ng Committee on Finance, Budget, and Management ng Bangsamoro Parliament ang kabuuang 2 billion pesos na proposed budget ng Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform o (MAFAR) para sa fiscal year 2025.

Mas mataas ito ng 9 percent o 172 million pesos kumpara sa budget allocation ngayong taon ng ministry na 1.9 billion pesos

Ayon pa kay MAFAR Minister Mohammad Yacob, ang dagdag na 172 million pesos na pondo ay gagamitin sa pagpapatupad ng tatlong flagship programs ng tanggapan tulad ng Basic Integration for Harmonized Intervention (BINHI), Integrated and Sustainable Development for Aquaculture (ISDA), at ang Land Distribution and Development for the Upliftment of the Poor ARBs Program (LUPA).

Masusuportahan din nito ang ibang programa tulad ng food security and nutrition convergence, regulatory and quarantine services, fisheries adjudication, sustainable development for agrarian reform beneficiaries, agribusiness and marketing assistance, at ang legal support for farmers and fisherfolk, kabilang na rin ang pamamahagi ng palay o rice seeds sa 20,000 farmers sa buong rehiyon.
