Maguindanao del Norte — More than Php 2,000,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated by elements of Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte PNP, in a buy-bust operation at crossing Simuay past 11 a.m., Thursday.
The operation also resulted in the arrest of Fahad and his brother Faisal, who is a student. Both are residents of Kitango, Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur.
The apprehension was made when a police officer disguised as a poseur buyer managed to acquire six jumbo-sized heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing the suspected shabu from Fahad.
The seized item weighed around 300 grams.
Following the successful transaction, the suspects were immediately apprehended by the authorities.
During the body search, the Sultan Kudarat, MDN Police discovered several items in Fahad's possession, including one (1) genuine one thousand peso bill bearing serial no. AL0317787 (buy-bust money), Seventy-eight (78) pieces of one thousand boodle money, one (1) pc of color black keypad cellphone, one unit of COLT MK4 caliber .45 pistol bearing serial no.759858, four (4)magazine assembly loaded with 28 pcs live ammos, one unit of Armscor caliber .45 pistol bearing serial no. 1342448, six (6) pieces of assorted identification cards, a blue cloth bag, one piece of color black belt bag, twenty-five pesos coins, and one (1) unit of color black pick-up bearing plate no. NDX1884.
The evidence and the apprehended suspects were promptly brought to the SK, MDN Police headquarters for documentation and proper disposition.
Sultan Kudarat Police Chief, PLtCol Esmael Madin, led the successful operation.
