Matapos isilbi ng otoridad ang warrant of arrest sa kasong paglabag sa Section 5, Article II ng Republic Act 9165 o ang Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Ang operasyon ay isinagawa ng mga elemento ng Tupi Municipal Police Station, South Cotabato Police Provincial Office, Provincial Intelligence Unit, South Cotabato Provincial Force Unit, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group 12, Regional Special Operations Group 12, 1205th Maneuver Company ng Regional Mobile Force Battalion 12 at Regional Intelligence Division 12.
