Manila, Philippines, [September 20, 2024] – The Marcos administration aims to provide medical services, such as X-ray, ultrasound, laboratory tests, and consultations, more accessible to a greater number of Filipinos through the Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinics.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Marcos turned over Friday Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinics for 28 provinces in Mindanao. The event was held at the Manila North Harbor Port in Manila.
President Marcos urged local governments to ensure the proper maintenance of the mobile clinics and remain attentive to the needs of the people.
According to the presidential couple, LGUs serve as the bridge between the Filipino populace and the national government to ensure that every citizen is cared for.
The President emphasized, "Healthcare is a right, not a privilege."
