Residents of Sitangkai, Tawi-Tawi, Benefit from Free Eye Surgeries

Tawi-Tawi —Forty-eight residents of Sitangkai, Tawi-Tawi, underwent cost-free eye surgeries courtesy of the initiative led by MP Amir Mawallil's office in collaboration with the Ministry of Health.



The office of MP Mawalil and the MOH conducted the Medical Outreach Program in two hospitals. The first leg took place at Datu Alawaddin Bandon Sr. Memorial Hospital in Sibutu, Tawi-Tawi, on April 15-16, 2024.



Following its success, MP Mawalil conducted the same outreach program at Datu Halun Sakilan Memorial Hospital on May 6-8, 2024.



In expressing his gratitude, the lawmaker thanked the doctors, nurses, and all staff members for their unwavering support during the successful surgical mission.
